This is a photo of the original rug, hooked circa 1920.
A blue house with a reddish brown roof and trim sits on a fenced, green lawn. The stick trees are on a dirt ground, against a grey blue sky. I love the soft muted colors of this rug. The house measures 6 x 12 inches on the smallest size and 13 x 25 inches on the largest size. Simple motifs makes this a great rug for a beginner and a primitive lover!
