This pattern is based off of the original rug, hooked in the late 1800's.
A large apple tree is surrounded by marauding birds, larger than the dogs, with worms dangling from their beaks. The spotted dogs are guarding the orchard. Flowers seem to float thru the air, with two stars above it all.
