This is a photo of the original rug, hooked 1890-1910. A large, salmon bellied fish in a rectangular shape. The simple geometric border has three squares, in each corner, with the stripes of the greens, carried from the background and the green used in the fish. This would be a great gift, for a fisherman or cabin owner, to place on the floor or hang on the wall. I think it would be great as a lumbar pillow, on a comfy chair or sofa!
