This is a photo of the original rug, hooked in the early 1900's.
A simple, coral colored horse stands on a brown, tweed ground, against a variegated background, hooked in blocks of different values of greens along with two large, primitive scrolls. This is an easy hook with simple color planning. He would, also, be awesome in a larger size!
