This image was hooked by Jo Wick. This pattern is from an antique appliquéd, crib quilt. It has a central, layered flower with four thistles on all sides and four flowers going out to the corners. It is easy to hook and easy to color plan. Plan a thistle flower, the other flower in a corner, then carry those colors to the middle flower. Add the leaf color and stems, then repeat. Alway use a color from the center of the rug, for the border outline. Remember this was a crib quilt in red, green and gold. The thistles don't have to be purple! This rug can be made into any size you would want. Please contact me for larger sizes and prices.
